Teaching
Chalcedony is often described with a soft, milky clarity. It gives us a picture of communication that is neither harsh nor evasive. Scripture does not ask us to make every word pleasant; it asks us to make our words useful for building up. Peace is not silence when truth is needed. It is the discipline of bringing truth in a way that leaves dignity intact—your dignity and someone else’s.

Workbook practice
Rewrite the sentence
Recall one sentence you have been repeating about yourself or someone else. Write the unfiltered version, then rewrite it three times: with truth, with compassion, and with a useful next action. Choose the version you can live out.
